Beautiful results are our passion and we want you feeling and looking refreshed, not injected.

Types of Injectables

Neuromodulators — Dysport

dysport before after

Before and after images of the injectable, Dysport. Lines on the forehead and between the brows are significantly diminished. Individual results may vary.

Neuromodulators are products injected into specific muscles in order to relax animation. This relaxation allows the lines on your face to also relax, bringing about smoother skin. Both Botox and Dysport are commonly used for this procedure.

These products take up to 2 weeks to fully onset, but the results are amazing, and last 3 ½ to 4 months.

Depending on the quality of your skin, regular use of these products (3 times per year) can eliminate lines all together, if the process is started in your 30s or 40s.

It is never too late to start treating lines of animation because the lift you get is incredible.

Volume Replacement/Tissue Fillers

Hyaluronic Acids — Restylane

Restylane and Juvederm products are dermal fillers that contain hyaluronic acid. They add volume and fullness in areas suffering from volume loss. They are used to lift cheeks, enhance lips, and restore youthful contours. Restylane products provide a natural and beautiful non-surgical rejuvenation of the face, so within a matter of minutes, our experts will turn back the clock 5 to 10 years. Beautiful results are our passion and you deserve to look your best.

These products instantly replace volume; softening the contours of the face while lifting tissue. Although these products are long lasting, we recommend injectable filler appointments every 6 months in order to maintain your results.

Injections of Dysport, Restylane and Voluma take off 10 years! Individual results may vary.

Poly-L-Lactic Acid — Sculptra

This filler is injected in areas of volume loss that need softening such as the temples and pre-auricular areas. This product stimulates the synthesis of collagen by creating an inflammatory process.

Mild swelling is noted for 2 to 3 days and gentle massage is recommended during the first 5 days after injection. The results of this product last up to 2 years, but depending on the area may require 2 to 3 treatments about 3 to 4 weeks apart for maximum results.

What is the difference between Dysport and Botox?

Dysport and Botox are both botulinum toxin type A injectables. Both are used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, but they do have key differences. Dysport has smaller molecules, allowing it to spread easier. Dysport has a quicker onset and tends to last longer than Botox. The longer duration can help to save one treatment per year. We recommend treatment every 4 months compared to Botox which may be every 3 months. Dysport requires is dosed differently than Botox and requires about 2-2.5x more units however because it is less expensive per units the price upfront is about the same however the longevity makes it more affordable over time.

What are the aftercare instructions with Dysport?

You should avoid anything that causes pressure on the area that was injected. Specifically avoid any facials and massages for 2 weeks. Avoid scheduling any other cosmetic procedures in the 2 weeks after injection. If you have any bruising you may use cool packs and arnica to speed up healing.

Is there a minimum dose of Dysport?

We require a 50 unit minimum dose.

What are the risks of Dysport or Botox?

Dysport and Botox are generally safe when administered by a trained medical professional. But like any medical treatment, they do have some risks. You make experience; redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection site, mild headache, temporary asymmetry if the product settles unevenly, slight pain or tenderness. Less common but possible risks include; drooping eyelid called ptosis-if the product spreads to unintended muscles, dry eyes, difficulty breathing-if you are allergic to the product.

Who is not a good candidate for Botox or Dysport?

You should avoid Dysport or Botox if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you have a neuromuscular disorder such as myasthenia gravis, if your have an active skin infection at the treatment site or if you have a known allergy to botulinum toxin or any of its ingredients.

Can I buy half of a syringe of filler?

No, we do not offer half syringes. However, if you only request a half syringe in your lips we can usually use the remaining filler on other parts of your face. This assures you that your product is sterile and used immediately upon opening.

What is filler made of?

Most fillers are made of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occuring molecule in the skin that helps retain moisture and volume.

How long do fillers last?

Filler longevity depends on the area being treated so it may range from 6 months to 24 months. We recommend making a follow up appointment every six months to maintain your optimal results.

Do fillers hurt?

Most fillers contain lidocaine, a numbing agent to make the procedure more comfortable. We do numb lips with a very strong numbing cream for comfort as lips are one of the most sensitive areas on the face. Most people tolerate other areas without any topical numbing cream.

What is the downtime after fillers?

There is little to no downtime with fillers. While minor bruising and tenderness shoud be expected, it shoud not keep your normal everyday activities. Avoiding strenuous activities, massages, facials, excessive heat, alcohol, and NSAIDS.

How much filler do I need?

While we take careful, indivialized attention to every face here are a few averages. Lips, 1/2-1 syringe. Cheeks, 1-3 syringes per side. Jawline/chin, 2-4 syringes total. Naolabial folds, 1-2 syringes.

What can I do to stimulate collagen production?

We offer Sculptra as a collagen stumulator that gradually restores volume by encouraging the body to produce collagen. Unlike fillers, it does not provide instant results but works over time for a natural looking enhancement.

How long does Sculptra last?

Results develop over several months and can last 2+ years as the body builds up collagen .

How many Sculptra treatments do I need?

Most patients need 2-4 sessions spaced about 4-6 weeks apart to achieve full effect.

What areas can be treated with Sculptra?

Cheeks and midface, temple hollowing, jawline, nasolabial folds, and marioneete lines, buttock and hip dips, and cellulite correction can all be treated with Sculptra.

What is the aftercare for Sculptra?

We give a 5-5-5 rule with Sculptra aftercare. 5 minutes of massage, 5 times a day for 5 days to avoid nodules and enhance the outcome. You should also avoid strenuous workouts for 24-48 hours and stay hydrated.

Who should avoid Sculptra?

Sculptra is generally not recommended for patients with active autoimmune diseases or with a history of severe autoimmune diseases such as lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, scleroderma, multiple sclerosis, psoriasis, or other connective tissue disordes.

What are more natural alternatives to filler?

PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin) and PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) use your body's own growth factors to stimulate collagen, improve skin quality, and restore volume. Results improve over time. You may inject the PRP or PRF into the skin like a filler or it may be micorneedled into the skin to enhance those results. We also offer EZ-Gel which is similar to PRF or PRP but it is processed differently to create a heated albumin gel that has a gel like consistency allowing it to act as a natual filler.

What are the benefits of EZ-Gel versus traditional filler

EZ-Gel is 100% autologous meaning no synthetic substances and less concern for allegies or for people with autoimmune disease. EZ-Gel stimulates collagen while adding volume. EZ-Gel may look more natual for those seeking a more subtle approach. EZ-Gel does give immediate volume but since it relies on the body for regeneration, results improve over 6-12 months.
