Dysport is a neuromodulator that relaxes muscles of animation in the face. That means those angry looking “11s” between your eyes, those exaggerated horizontal lines on our forehead, or those squinty lines around our eyes. There are other areas of the face that are suitable for treatment as well, so be sure to ask your injection specialist lots of questions.
What to expect at your first appoint ment/consultation
Your injection specialist will examine your face and listen to all your concerns. In addition to developing a treatment plan designed especially for you, you will learn all the reasons why we do what we do and why we do not do treatments you may be requesting. Be assured, providing beautiful and natural results are our number one priority and educating you about our recommendations and the processes to get you there will be clearly understood. Do not be afraid to ask questions. Our team has a wealth of knowledge, and we enjoy educating you. Once a plan is derived, we will provide you with your first treatment.
Dysport is injected with very tiny needles and the treatment takes less than 15 minutes. Anytime we poke the skin there is a risk of bruising, however the risk is small, and a bruise will typically resolve in a few days, but the results last 4 Months!!
Bear in mind that lines of animation are usually formed over decades; although the lines will be drastically reduced after your first treatment. Be sure to follow your personalized treatment plan to maximize your results.
Typical Results
Dysport takes up to 2 weeks to completely onset. Although you will start to notice results in a few days it can change for up to 2 weeks. So, please keep your face out of massage tables and avoid any other facial procedures(like facials) until the two weeks have passed. At that time, we will see you back for a quick recheck to make sure your results are on-point! We want you to be looking your best!
